The GOP would have to have a majority in the House (which it´s not projected to have), and not just a majority in the Senate but a *66-seat* majority, in order to override President Obama´s veto. So, so much for repeal until at least January of 2013.
Their best chance of a repeal would be if they could win majorities in both houses of Congress, along with the presidency, in the 2012 election.
I´m sorry, that´s not going to happen. The likely GOP nominee for president will be Mitt Romney, and he doesn´t stand a chance of winning the election. And all the other choices are worse than him.
