  Repeal is a pipe dream

The GOP would have to have a majority in the House (which it´s not projected to have), and not just a majority in the Senate but a *66-seat* majority, in order to override President Obama´s veto. So, so much for repeal until at least January of 2013.

Their best chance of a repeal would be if they could win majorities in both houses of Congress, along with the presidency, in the 2012 election.

I´m sorry, that´s not going to happen. The likely GOP nominee for president will be Mitt Romney, and he doesn´t stand a chance of winning the election. And all the other choices are worse than him.

You can take this to the bank.

I think the Republicans are as irrelevant and impenitent as Al-Qaeda.

Now they are trying to salvage political points by trying to ride this dead horse to the rendering plant. Sorry boys, it just don´t go.
