  Blatant plagiarism on the site...

So, I´m getting pretty tired of seeing sports articles on this site. I don´t know if anyone else has noticed that enzomendicino (our resident "sports" reporter) is blatantly plagiarizing almost every headline he uses without giving credit to a source and/or copying direct lines from articles. Personally, it rubs me the wrong way and admin doesn´t seem to give a flyin´ leap. Is there anyway other than attempting to block news to bring the problem to admin´s attention?

  Not bothered about plagiarism

I don´t really care much about the writing style of anyone here - some are good some are bad.

Everyone knows that shortnews is not was it once was - but all sites evolve, often irritating long-term users.

As to the plagiarism - if there are no copyright issues (which, if I recall correctly there would have been under the "old" administration) - no real problem.

What does bother me on the one hand is having the whole page of "Recent Hard News" filled with sports related articles - on the other hand, more power to enzomendicino - she/he is demonstrating what this site is like now.

I still find out other things I might not have come across otherwise and always read the source and look through other news sites for related articles when finding something of interest.

The news titles have a tendency not to be copyrightable so most don´t care. The articles though are a big deal and if you do have that info it should be given to the admins. Whether they act on it or not is up to them.

I suggest posting the instances in this thread.
