Something needs to be done. We are as violent in the US as they are in militant Islam countries. I don´t think guns should be banned or confiscated, but something in our culture needs to change. It´s sad when the populace loves their guns more than human life. We are a sick society.

  The big question is....

... How many more innocent lives will be gunned down in a theatre or a school??? People get shot every day in Canada but you rarely hear of these mass murders like you do south of the border. It´s like there is a new derranged psycho gunning kids down every month. Who´se going to be the "hot shot" of January hmmmm? You know someones plotting.

Every person who buys a gun should have a mental evaluation and "serious" background check first. A one month "enforced" waiting period should be mandatory. Anyone caught selling a firearm and not adhering to the law gets 20 years in prison - no parole.

  Looking form this end...

the only trigger happy people I am seeing is the cops! 20 bullets, into an 18 year old kid on a bus in Canada and shooting a dog for getting out of a car in USA.
These guys in uniform are walking death squads more than protectors of the peace. They should be controlled not the people!

Question, does any of these murderers ever get sentenced for abusing their power while under the pretence of maintaining the law?? If not, why not? I see a double crime here. So they should have a double term in jail.
