Bus Company Apologizes for "Ride Me All Day for £3" Ad

A bus company based in South Wales has apologized after using a picture of a topless woman holding a sign saying "Ride me all day for just £3" in an advertisement on the back of their buses.

Passengers and people on social media were outraged by the NAT Group´s ads. "@NAT_Group bus in Cardiff is vile. Women face enough harassment on buses without use of sexually explicit language," one Twitter user wrote.

The company apologized via a statement, saying "The slogan of ´ride me all day for £3´ whilst being a little tongue in cheek was in no way intended to cause offence to either men or women and, if the advert has done so then we apologise unreservedly".
