Three bandits wearing dark suits, dark shirts and bow ties smashed the windows of a Manhattan jewelry store Tuesday afternoon before fleeing with bags full of valuable watches.
The three suspects walked into the Tourneau store on Madison Ave. at roughly 1:30 p.m. One of them fired a shot into the floor while the other two began smashing display cases with hammers.
They then fled the scene on foot, but police were able to capture one of the men. Two remain at large. No one of the employees or customers were injured.
