Flight Attendant Violated Policy by Posing for Photos With Engine Well

Spirit Airlines says a flight attendant violated policy by posing for photos inside a jet engine well at Chicago´s O´Hare International Airport shortly before a recent flight.

The airline is investigating the photos after 41-year-old Ericka Paige Diehl used one of them as her profile picture on Facebook. "The activity portrayed in the photo absolutely goes against Spirit policy," the company explains.

Diehl defends her actions, saying "I have a picture in a jet engine, and pretty much everybody that I know that has been a flight´s just one of those things that we like to do".

what was the problem?

Could be risky "when" she did this. What if the pilot had cranked up that engine? The more employees do this the higher the odds of death.

  Thanks Lurker
So it could have caused a spark. Pity the staff were not warned and she was used as an example.
