Flight Attendants Sue Boeing Over Toxic Fumes in Planes

Four Alaska Airlines flight attendants filed a suit against Boeing because toxic air leaked into their Boeing 737 plane and made them seriously ill.

"I felt like I might die," Vanessa Woods says. She and other two flight attendants reportedly passed out during a flight after a chemical odor filled the cabin.

A Boeing rep would not comment on the lawsuit but said "Based on solid research ... cabin air is safe to breathe ... contaminant levels are generally low and ... health and safety standards are met".
