NYPD Officer Indicted on Federal Drug Trafficking Charges

According to federal prosecutors in Vermont, a New York Police Department officer has been arrested for conspiring to distribute oxycodone in the state.

Andre Clarke, 36 was arrested on Monday in Queens. He allegedly supplied the pills to Michael "Beast" Foreste, who, in turn, gave them to Dannis Hackney. Foreste and Hackney were charged with drug trafficking and money laundering.

The drug sale ring was operating in the Burlingtion area from 2011 through June 2014. All three are facing up to 20 years in prison.
