Former Nazi Officer Groening Sentenced

A 94-year-old former Nazi officer who served at the Auschwitz death camp in Poland has been convicted on 300,000 counts of accessory to murder.

Oskar Groening, "the bookkeeper of Auschwitz", was sentenced to four years in prison by a court in Lueneburg, Germany.

Groening said he was "morally complicit" with what happened in the camp but he did not help clarify other possible crimes committed by other SS members he knew.

Have the U.S. forefathers been sentenced for killing natives, blacks and hispanics? No, so the courts should leave this man alone.

  He was a book keeper.
So hardly a first hand murderer, he did not make the orders or sign the death sentences. Just another fall guy used as a decoy.
