Police Searching for Woman Who Crashed Stolen Car on S.F. Bridge and Plunged Into Bay

Police in San Francisco sent out search teams for a woman who either fell or jumped from the Bay Bridge after crashing a stolen car there Wednesday morning.

According to the CHP, the car was stolen in Los Angeles. So far, the woman has not been found and it´s unclear if she is still alive. "The water´s cold enough to potentially cause hypothermia," says Jordan Akiyama with the Coast Guard.

Police say when they arrived at the crash scene, they saw three people in the car. The woman then began to slip and fall from the bridge. A witness told police he saw the woman get out of the water and hitch a ride in a dump truck.
