Tooth Fairy Leaving Less Money Under Children´s Pillows

According to a recent survey, the tooth fairy paid children 24 cents less per tooth than she did last year.

This year, children received on average $3.19 per lost tooth, down from $3.43 in 2014. The survey also showed that dads are more generous than moms and children who live in the Northeast receive more money while those in the South get the least.

Visa´s sixth annual Tooth Fairy survey included over 4,000 phone interviews.
