Nehemiah Griego, a 18-year-old teenager from New Mexico, has pleaded guilty in the shooting deaths of his parents and three young siblings.
Griego was 15 when he opened fire at his family´s home south of Albuquerque in January 2013. He reportedly told police that "he was angry with his mother and had been having homicidal and suicidal thoughts".
A hearing will be held in January. It is still unclear if Griego will be sentenced as a juvenile or an adult. He could receive up to three life sentences plus 30 years if he is sentenced as an adult.
