The best place to live in the world is Norway, according to the United Nations´ 2015 Human Development Index, or HDI.
This is the 12th year in a row Norway´s come in at the top of the HDI. Close runners-up on the list are Australia and Switzerland. Other top ten countries are Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, the U.S., Canada and New Zealand.
Norway has been consistently ranked top with high scores on life expectancy, education and gross national income. Russia was only ranked 50th, China 90th and India 130th.
