Delta Passenger Brings Turkey for "Emotional Support" on Plane

An airline passenger brought a turkey as emotional support animal onto a Delta flight. The bird even got its own seat.

A Reddit user posted a picture of the fowl on the plane. "My neighbor is a flight attendant. He just posted this photo of someone´s ´therapy pet´ on his flight," the user wrote. The turkey was carted around the airport in a wheelchair.

The National Service Animal Registry says all domestic animals may qualify as an emotional support animal. "Their very presence mitigates the symptoms associated with a person´s psychological/emotional disability, unlike a working service dog," the website states.
