Bernie Sanders Changes Position on Guns, Now Supports Gun Manufacturer Liability Measure

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders announced his support for a bill that would reverse a 2005 law granting gun manufacturers legal immunity that he once supported.

"I´m pleased that this legislation is being introduced. As I have said for many months now, we need to look at the underlying law and tighten it up," the Democratic presidential candidate explained.

The new bill, introduced by Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., and Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif, would change parts of a bill that gave gun manufacturers immunity for crimes committed with firearms they made.

  Does this mean ...

We can sue Ford, Chevy, Cpt. Morgan, and, Jack Daniels for drunk driving deaths? Or how about McDonald´s and Burger King for obesity and diabetes? What ever happened to personal responsibility and accountability?

I assume it does. As such, I will follow the Liberals illogic next time I get hit in my car. I will sue not only the driver, but the car manufacturer, the dealer that sold the car to them, the mechanic that does the maintenance on their car, the DMV, the tire shop that sold their tires and any known liberals in the area for good measure and for allowing the driver to create the circumstances surrounding the accident. I might even try that on the state/county road and bridge. I´ll argue that the repeal of the gun law applies to my case as it is all about shifting the blame from the individual to the community and companies. I imagine if I get a judge that isn´t a die hard liberal, they´ll probably let it fly.

I´ll let you know how it turns out.
