eBay has posted a message on their announcement board apologizing for recent problems on their site, which have resulted in instability and periods where the site was down.
eBay said the problems started when they began to upgrade the site's servers. "We conduct lots of tests to make sure that these transitions are as seamless as possible. Sometimes they are not. And for that, we are very sorry," said their note.
For some users, the apology was not enough. Sellers who have paid fees to offer products for auction want their money back for the time the site was down. "We pay our listing fees and expect to get reasonable service for such fees," said one user.
