Police Mistakenly Release Murder Suspect

Authorities say a murder suspect who was mistakenly released from a Los Angeles jail last month was recaptured Monday in Nevada.

A series of errors in Steven Lawrence Wright┬┤s paperwork led to his release. When police realized the mistake, they launched their manhunt. The 37-year-old was then found at a hotel in Bolder City Monday morning and taken into custody without incident.

Wright had been behind bars since 2011 for an attempted murder in Pasadena.
