German Far Right Politician Shot

Siegfried Weiss-Stussgen, an official of the far right German NPD party has been shot three times by unknown gunmen.

The NPD is currently under investigation and may be banned by the constitutional court for promoting racist and anti-semitic violence.

Weiss-Stussgen was the deputy chairman of the party in his town of Goeppingen near Stuttgart.
