Robbie losing weight to play Harry Potter's giant friend

Robbie Coltrane, 50, famous for heavy weight roles, needs to get rid of 20 stones to fit into his costumes for the Harry Potter film. He is to play Hagrid the giant, the good-natured friend and helper to Harry Potter.

A film crew member gave the secret information how Coltrane was going to slim: "Robbie now has to have a dairy-free diet - so he can't eat cheese and has to have soya milk in his tea."

Coltrane will be playing alongside Daniel Radcliffe, who will be the 11-year old Harry Potter.
