Napster Joins One of its Rivals

On line music site Napster has today announced it will link with German music company Bertelsmann AG to provide a new secure file-sharing music service.

Bertelsmann is one of the companies suing Napster for copyright infringements, but will withdraw its lawsuit when the service is established.

They also plan to make Napster a membership based service and will provide a loan to Napster.
