Smoking Mothers: Kids Obese And Suffering Diabetes

Researchers found that smoking during pregnancy might be one of the factors that causes type II diabetes and obesity in young adults.

Their figures show that women who smoked when they were pregnant had kids that were a third more likely to develop diabetes and the ones who didn't suffer from diabetes at age 33 were highly likely to be fat.

The scientists warn that yet they haven't checked in detail if their results are accurate. However, they are sure that smoking is bad and that non-smoking, a healthy diet, and regular exercise can prevent diabetes.
