New Rio Riot takes on the iPod

SonicBlue has announced the Rio Riot, a 20GB digital music portable that is its first model to compete in the jukebox MP3 player class.

The Riot connects to both PC and Mac models. That puts it against Apple's 5GB iPod, which sold a whopping 125,000 units in the last 1 1/2 months of 2001.
