Macromedia making it hard for Netscape to survive

The Website IHateNetscape.com has just released an article regarding the issue of Macromedia not following web standards and therefore making it hard for non Microsoft browsers to survive.

An official statement in the article from Macromedia states:

...Macromedia recognizes developers may target browsers in common usage that cannot interpret or take advantage of the latest specifications...

The Article also does its own test with a demo site to prove that Macromedia Dreamweaver software does not in fact follow the W3C standards which in the end result means IE specific code and no support for Netscape or other browsers.

Netscape has always been in trouble!

I think Netscape has always been in trouble compared to MSIE.I know alot of computer users do not like MS and I also agree in some cases, but even years ago MS was giving away it's MSIE browser and Netscape was charging for it. Now how many people do you think were going to pay up to $50 for it? I also know that is one of the reasons MS has put others out of business and even went to court for the anti trust $hit. But stop and think on this a second.. In all the US government anti trust stuff against MS. All of the court transcripts and all the other documentation stored AGAINST MS. What kind of OS do you think most of the court system used on their computers?

  Well.

I agree but Macromedia can do a better job of informing designers of incompatibility
