Hong Kong Chicken Flu Could Become Deadly

The disease that has been killing hundred of thousands of chickens in Hong Kong over the past week is mutating so fast that it could become a danger to humans according to scientists there.

It is not known how many chickens have been killed by the virus, but at least 170,000 have been slaughtered to try and stop it spreading.

In 1997, a similar virus managed to mutate enough that it caused 6 people to die, but the authorities think that this time they should contain it before that happens again.
