Scaffolding Recovered from Detroit River - But no Trace of Victim

Canadian authorities called off their search for the body of Jamie Barker, 28, who plunged 130 feet into the Detroit River on November 14 from the Ambassador Bridge.

Jamie fell into the river with two other painters who were rescued. Four other contractors were hauled to safety after hanging onto the remains for 45 minutes.

"We've removed all the stuff, all the scaffolding. There wasn't anything there. He'll be found eventually, somewhere down the river." Windsor Police Staff Sgt. Don Sampson stated on Wednesday.
