Fire season which normally starts in late May and goes through the Summer seems to be getting an early start this year southwest of Denver.
In the town of Bailey, Colorado about 2,000 people have been moved from their homes yesterday because of the fires. Most were able to return home last night but were told depending on the wind they might have to leave again.
Wildfire specialists were called in from as far away as Illinois to help fight the raging wildfires. Which almost doubled overnight even though winds had calmed down from 30 to 40 miles an hour earlier in the day.
