State workers from the Washington labor department are under investigation for using work computers to send private E-mails with sexual content. Six employees have been fired and 14 are being investigated.
"We have very clear policies that we don't tolerate this kind of behavior. It's a level of abuse that I didn't expect", said deputy director of operations Eva Santos.
The department found hundreds of E-mails, some not so explicit, and others more direct, like an invitation for a sex party. The fired workers said they were never told what they could or could not write in E-mails.
