Fox voicemail advert being investigated in UK

 

A Fox campaign to promote the film Minority Report in the UK using voicemails is being investigated by the UK advertising watchdogs ASA (Advertising Standards Authority).

One receiver has complained to ASA calling the voicemail "inappropriate and offensive"
About 27 thousand messages were sent out.

The telephone numbers were from a database of names used in a previous promotion.
