Cambodia has deported Gary Glitter, the former music star who is on a UK sex offenders list for having sex with boys. Glitter left the UK after a prison sentence there.
Glitter was arrested for similar offenses in Cambodia, jailed for three days and deported on December 28th, 2002. Sources say he went to Bangkok, Thailand.
World Vision states: "There's just no protection for children in abuse hotspots such as Cambodia, Bosnia and Thailand." Glitter's lawyers may be trying to reverse the deportation order.
