Ford Posts Financial Data On Website - By Accident

The Ford Motor Corporation accidentally posted what should have been secure financial information onto its website last Tuesday. Though the information was only there for minutes, it was enough to cause concern.

Ford, apparently, are expecting a US$1.8 billion loss in north America this year, however sales in Europe and Asia are expected to counter act with high profits. The data was mistakenly posted in preparation for a conference call with the press.

Not only was it posted on the website, but it was also emailed out to a great many people. Some financial analysts are showing concern, while others are choosing to ignore it. Ford has said "It's not an accurate projection of the company's outlook."
