Vatican Sticks Up For Harry Potter

A spokesperson for the Vatican has said that the theme of good versus evil found within the Harry Potter books is consistent with Christian beliefs. "I don't see any, any problems in the Harry Potter series."

The spokesperson, Rev Peter Fleetwood, is a member of the Vaticans council of culture and was speaking at a forum which focused on societies current trend of "New Age" living, which was steering away from Christian beliefs.

He was then asked if this new trend included the global fascination with Harry Potter and the fact that many groups see them as promoting the occult. He said of the author she is "Christian by conviction... even in her way of writing."

Right on my christian brothers and sisters!!

Thats really satisfy news that finally a little common sense was brought into religon and that people in these situations should just sit back and look at both point of views and not be so quick to judge any type of media that may contain something not containing a guy being nailed to two pieces of wood. And even jesus did what seems like magic as well ( fish, walking on water, dead raiseing).
