Professor and the human species

"How do you think the human species originated?". If his students won't answer correct at this question, professor Michael Dini, from Texas Tech University, will not give them any recommendation for admittance to further education in the biomedical.

The biology professor is being acused of religious discrimination. "Students are being denied recommendations [...]because of their personal religious beliefs," said the chief counsel of the Liberty Legal Institute.

This Institute filled a legal complaint against the professor and the University where he's working. Anyway, "a letter of recommendation is not subject to the university control or regulation", declared an official from the University.

He can choose who he wants to recommend and who he doesn't want to recommend. Its not the same thing as grading. You would think the federal government has better things to investigate than someone's right to free speech, as obnoxious as some may find it.

It shows how American students want everything given to them (speaking from experience). Find a Prof who hates the idea of evolution! Maybe there are some who also say the world is flat too. ;)
