Klingon Translator Needed

The Department of Human Services for Multnomah County in Oregon needs someone who can translate the Klingon language into English. Apparently, some mental health clients in that system refuse to speak any other language thank Klingon.

The Department is seeking translators for 55 languages and Klingon is one of them. Klingon is a language invented for the science fiction series Star Trek and some see it as a complete language with proper grammar and syntax.

A county purchasing administrator says: "There are some cases where we've had mental health patients where this was all they would speak."

Woman Not Impressed By Date's Ability To Speak Klingon

Much to his dismay, local resident Peter James found himself at a lost when, halfway through dinner, his date began frowning and avoiding eye contact after James began speaking in Klingon. "It usually works pretty good," says James, "I just don't know where things went wrong this time."

I live in Multnomah County, OR, lol. I haven't heard about this, but I did hear that Jedi is actually considered a registered religion because over 100,000 people put that for thier religion in the last census.

  Bless them :-)

Rather than learning a nice practical languge that he would be able to use worldwide (and no doubt impress the ladies woo woo) he decided to learn Klingon...

Still... I bet he is the sexiest guy at all the conventions.
