Louisiana officials have named Derrick Todd Lee, 34, as the suspect in five murders. They issued a warrant for his arrest, and the FBI has also issued a warrant for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
Lee's DNA, found on latest victim Carrie Yoder, Louisiana State University graduate student, also matches that found on the other victims.
Police will not confirm how they obtained Lee's DNA, but they have collected voluntary swabbings from some 1000 men in south Louisiana.
