Suspect Named in Louisiana Serial Murders

Louisiana officials have named Derrick Todd Lee, 34, as the suspect in five murders. They issued a warrant for his arrest, and the FBI has also issued a warrant for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

Lee's DNA, found on latest victim Carrie Yoder, Louisiana State University graduate student, also matches that found on the other victims.

Police will not confirm how they obtained Lee's DNA, but they have collected voluntary swabbings from some 1000 men in south Louisiana.

This is quite scary for the future of our Daughter
won't go and convict the man after reading the news about this incident but we just had a similar situation where I live, and later found out that the person to whom they held as a suspect was found later NOT to be the person that did the crime. But what makes this Young man more guiltier, is fact that he fled the scene!

This sort of rape murder thing is getting way too far on our college campuses. It's scary to see your young daughter go off to college knowing that this soft of thing happens quite frequently.
