Canadian Teenager Arrested for Writing a Story

A 16 year old Canadian boy, who wrote a story in school about being bullied and then gaining his revenge by fire bombing the place has been arrested and held by police for 34 days.

The arrest has enraged a number of prominent authors in Canada who have actively supported the boy and believe freedom of speech is being infringed by the arrest.

However many people in the boys home town are supportive of the police action and the boy and his brother now face criminal charges over their threats.
