Around 400 members of rival Paris gangs fought for 2 hours in the Paris shopping center La Defense on Saturday. At least 10 of the youths were injured in the clash.
Shopkeepers had to close shutters, trapping shoppers inside to avoid the clashes that took riot police and 200 local police a long time to subdue.
The rival gangs had come from low-income housing estates at the edge of the city and travelled by public transport to the pre-arranged meeting point.
