Analysts have tentatively predicted that Apple might rebound to see a profit this quarter, despite last quarter's $247 million loss.
"We think the company's set relatively modest goals and will meet them," said one analyst. "We are forecasting Apple to break even or show a slight profit on revenues of approximately $1.4 billion" for the quarter ending March 31st.
Carl Howe, another analyst is not so sure. Although he calls his forecast for Apple "somewhat optimistic," he warns that "it really all comes down to what the economy looks like."
