Star Trek Federation Science in London

The London Science Museum has started a new project to educate visitors in science. Here fact meets science fiction.

Visitors can wander through different parts of the "familiar" Star Trek universe and find out about phenomena like physics or biomedicine. In the Transporter Room visitors can even beam themselves away to foreign planets.

The exhibition makes a point also to explain the tricks and devices used to create the series Star Trek. The creator of the exhibition claims that the Star Trek representation of the future is realistic. The exhibition is on until April.
