A security camera in the Addison Road-Seat Pleasant station of the Washington D.C. transit system Metrorail caught a deer running through the station, surprised commuters watching on.
The deer, dubbed Rudolph the Blue Line Reindeer by transit officials, walked around the mezzanine before rushing down an escalator, galloping past a waiting train, leaping onto the tracks (avoiding the electrified rail) and escaping.
Officials said they don't know the exact date and time of the incident, as it was discovered during a routine review of security video by police.
