Racist attack in Britain: Asian student ran for his life

The court case for a racist attack in Leeds in North England has begun and judges heard 20-year-old student Sarfraz Najeib tell how he was heavily beaten and knocked to the ground by a group of young men, including two Leeds United footballers.

The men had attacked him and his friends outside a nightclub. The chase, where the footballers and their friends followed Mr. Najeib was recorded on video by security cameras. Unfortunately there is no video footage of the actual attack.

The two Leeds United footballers, Lee Bowyer and Jonathan Woodgate, deny all the charges against them.
