The stadiums hosting National Football league Playoff Games this weekend are also declared no-fly zones as a result of laws passed by Congress since the 9-11 attacks happened. The zones will be in effect up and to the Super Bowl.
Federal officials have also been monitoring the tight security put in place for the playoff games. This security follows a rash of cancelled international flights and a heightened security alert.
Joe Browne, an NFL spokesman, says "The number one concern our fans have is the air space." He adds fans are more comfortable with stadium security because they see more intense security in parking lots and at stadium gates.
