A woman has endured nine years of unnecessary HIV treatment, after being falsely diagnosed with the disease in 1994. She is now suing the clinic that diagnosed her and gave her the treatment.
As a result of the treatment, Audrey Serrano suffered multiple illnesses, including a swollen intestine. She said of the new, negative tests "It's nice to not constantly feel like you're going to die, literally. I'm still tired a lot, though."
