Online Sales for Football World Cup Hit by Internet Glitch

The online system meant to sell tickets for the Football World Cup in Japan and Korea next year has been hit by a 'technical glitch' and so people are unable to order online yet.

The delay is claimed to be temporary, but FIFA do not know when it will be fixed.
The website for the tournament is on http://www.fifaworldcup.com

Meanwhile, people can for the first time buy a block of tickets to see all the matches their team is involved in, however tickets will cost nearly double what they did in France in 1998.
