The parents of John Kerrys former intern Alex Polier have said that the 60 year old would-be president "is a sleazeball" and that he was "after her". They describe Kerry persuing the 24 year old in an effort to get her on his re-election committee.
"I think he’s a sleazeball. I did kind of wonder if my daughter didn’t get that kind of feeling herself. He’s not the sort of guy I would choose to be with my daughter." commented her father, Terry Polier.
He went on to add "He invited her to be on his re-election committee. She talked to him and decided against it." The accusations of an affair began on the Drudge Report website, famous for being the first to break the Clinton and Lewinsky story.
