Sex Pistol Tells Of Lockerbie Near Miss

Former Sex Pistols lead singer Jonny Rotten, real name John Lydon, has been speaking about how he and his wife should have flown on the fateful Flight 103 which was blown up over Lockerbie in December 1988.

He says that both of them would have been on the flight if his wife hadn't taken so long packing. The delay meant that they had to re-schedule onto a later departure and therefore inadvertently cheated death.

Memories of the fateful incident played a part in the anarchic singers early departure from the recent TV show I'm A Celebrity. He claims that the program makers refused to confirm his wifes safe arrival in Australia so he left the show in disgust.
