Global warming greater threat than terrorism

Sir David King, has been reigned in by the British government over global warming claims after he claimed that climate change was more dangerous than terrorism. In a leaked memo to his office he was given 'preferred' answers for media questioning.

Hans Blix has also supported these claims by saying "I think we still overestimate the danger of terror. There are other things that are of equal, if not greater, magnitude, like the environmental global risks."

When asked how he had come this conclusion on global warming, Sir David replied this was "based on the number of fatalities that have already occurred" which implied that global warming has already killed more people than global terrorism.

Global warming would save lives near the poles!

Sir King and Mr Blix are utter fools! Global warming isn't even conclusively established unequivocally! Plus, if it was real, people and animals in Siberia and the polar regions would be glad!

  Yeah! Overpopulation problem solved ..

... especially the north pole region will become a really nice area with lots of beaches and palm trees, can't wait to rest in the sun getting a proper crispy burn with all-inclusive-skin-cancer :-)

Burn the rainforests!!! Kill the whales!!! Whale-meat for everyone!!!

Your HAND has been spending too much time near the pole if you honestly believe there's no evidence of global warming. Look at the heat deaths and record highs last summer in Europe, or the northern migration of entire ecosystems, or the strengthening of the El Nino effect. There's tons of evidence - I just think that neo-conservatives (like I suspect you are) want to make money in the present at the expense of future generations which won't have a habitable planet.

Yeah, and neither is evolution. But if science was forced to remove it, then biology would come crashing down, as that's one of its most important foundations. Somethings you just can't prove conclusively, as the systems are too large and happen over massive time-scales. Chaos is a bitch; we just don't have the models.
