Gunners CD Gets Go Ahead From Judge

Guns N' Roses frontman, Axl Rose, along with two other members of the band have lost a lawsuit they brought against Geffen Records to try and block the release of a Guns N' Roses greatest hits CD.

Geffen Records is a branch of the Universal Music Group, and Rose stated that he never gave his permission for the CD to be released. He was supported in the lawsuit by band members Slash and Duff McKagan.

The CD will be released next Tuesday, with the next hearing in the suit to be held on the Thursday after that. Universal Music said: ".. since the court has denied their application for a temporary restraining order, the album will be released..."
