Woman's Foot Glued to Floor By Liquid Bandage

Joyce Stewart's day "got off on the wrong foot", so to speak. While sitting down for a morning coffee at home, Joyce used 3M's Liquid Bandage on her heel. Within minutes, her foot was stuck to the floor.

Stewart positioned her left foot such that her heel wouldn't touch the floor, and applied the Liquid Bandage. The liquid had run from the back of her foot to the ball of her foot. It was when she got up from her chair that she realized she was stuck.

Using a knife, Stewart tried to free herself from the linoleum floor, but the skin on her heel was tearing and bleeding. Realizing this was serious, she called her daughter, who then called 911. Paramedics freed her in about an hour using baby oil.
