UK Wants Homer Simpson As President

A recent magazine poll in the UK revealed that most people would like to see Homer Simpson take office after the November 2nd election.

Readers were asked to pick their favorite TV personality that they would like to be President of the United States.

Homer Simpson took 24% of the vote. Second place was Josiah Bartlet (Martin Sheen) the ‘President’ in The West Wing, closely followed by ‘Dr. Frazier Crane’ radio shrink in the sitcom Frazier.

Radio Times magazine? Who the hell are they?

It's obvious why you didn't include that bit of information in your summary.

Try again next time.

Perhaps before trying to criticize those that actually contribute to this site you should try and do so yourself.

I didn't mention the name of the specific magazine because most of the audience of this site is American and probably won't have heard of the publication.

In the UK, where the story is from, the Radio Times is the longest running TV guide publication available. In fact they were in print before TV was invented hence the name Radio Times. They are now owned by the BBC, heard of them?

Why don't you write some stories yourself instead of trying to admonish others when you don't understand something?

I have posted articles. Not many, but I contribute to the site.

Funny how many people don't contribute and yet are full of negative comments, hacking attacks, etc, yet you never complain about them.

Get a grip. You left out a key point to your summary (the "who" if you will) that makes your summary misleading also.

Okay you have contributed a grand total of two articles since you joined in August of this year. That is hardly much of a contribution.

What you perhaps don't yet understand due to your newness to the site is that there is Hard News and Soft News. I put this article in the latter. There is a reference one can follow for details, and no rule that I need to spell out the kind of specifcs you are demanding.

I have passed this matter into the hands of the moderators to deal with. I suggest you learn more about the site before you start running your mouth and being a jerk.

Maybe there would be more than six people if people didn't gripe about stuff like mentioning the name of a magazine. ;)
