"Sex Inspectors" - Reality TV invades the Bedroom

A new British reality TV show,"Sex Inspectors", is scheduled to air in two weeks and will show couples engaged in sexual acts while the co-hosts rate their performance and list suggested improvements.

The co-hosts, Tracey Cox and Michael Alvear, say "All the people who went on it knew what they were up for, they had a personality that could cope."

  If it takes off...

It could become an Olympic Sport. Performance ratings for presentation, stamina, duration, novel positions... whatever the score ice skating on. LOL.

Imagine what the "Simon" judge will say about

their performances LOL. Should be a hoot.

But can they show this on TV? or is it cable? I could see this on HBO in the States.

  Hey

Finally, a reason to watch television again!

They put this on, I will actually sit and watch it.

Nothing else though.

I swore off a year+ ago, and with minor (passing by, etc) exception, have avoided television entirely.

I doubt it would make it over here

The prudish media is so conservative I am surprised they have not started asking women to wear face masks.

  hmm

somehow I doubt this is one British reality TV show that will make it State-side... we stole all your other ones, from DIY to terrible singing acts.. why can't we steal the truly stellar ideas??

You have to understand in the UK if the whole super bowl thing had happened, no one would have said anything about it. Here the Jesus Army want to see everything censored on TV. In the UK every channel is as free as HBO after 9pm. In other parts of Europe they even show fairly hard core porn on TV. America is very backwards when it comes to a free media. I am not trying to bash America, but we need to walk the walk. We can't keep claiming to have free speech and then censor everything. Just watch MTV these days. Words such as God, pussy, weed, dope, bitch, gun, kill, shoot, drink, vodka are being censored. I've seen wildlife programs where animals have their genitals blurred out. I mean what is up with that? You censor all this harmless stuff but then you can turn to fear factor and see people drinking a blended rat, or switch to X-files and see someone’s face melting off. If you're going to censor anything let it be the violence and nasty shit like fear factor, but leave the harmless nudity on TV.
On the same subject, why do TV channels keep showing R rated movies during the day and then cut out everything that might offend people? Why not show family movies in the day time and uncensored R rated movies later? It also annoys me that stupid parents can take their kids to see R rated movies at the theater. I saw countless young kids at 8-mile. Interestingly, they put their hands over their kids eyes during the nude scene but happily watched the gang violence scenes with their little 5 year old kids. Amazing.

  One other thing

I am so sick of TV channels showing things they claim to be, 'uncut' or 'uncensored' and then they are both cut and censored. I hate censorship.

Oh believe me, I totally understand.. I've spent enough time in Asia, Europe and S. Africa, I'm well aware of what gets shown on TV in those regions daily..
